Research Opportunity
The international Invitrogen Research Tools Development Grant Program for 2003 officially kicked off in January. This is the 2nd year of the program.
The Grant Program is a novel funding opportunity for researchers in academics, institutions and biotechnology companies. We provide grants that are intended to allow investigators to develop innovative tools for use in life science research, including discovery, development, and commercialization. Invitrogen is providing the Research Tools Development Grants on a trimester basis; each 4 months we will request grant proposals for a specific field of interest. Generally these grants are for US$100,000 per year, although we will consider larger amounts for longer durations.
